Abstract:The purpose of this document is to define the seconf technical increment delivery of the SATURN Framework for the co-design and co-verification of heterogeneous systems.
The objectives of the document are to provide documentation of what the framework consists of, and how it should be used. It also describes the considerations which have lead to the technical decisions of the second increment.
The document first describes what the framework is and what is required to run it followed by a description of how it can be installed.
The bulk of the document is a user guide and an example that the user can study and use to do his/her own system development.
The document assumes some knowledge of SystemC and SysML/UML in order to gain the maximum benefit. The document does not describe all details of the EXITE ACE and Artisan Studio operation as this is given in the vendors own commercial document set.
